- Remove excess hair daily.
- Use a specialist grooming tool to aid the shedding process.
- Grooming tools that will make the job easier are a curry comb, shedding blade, slick block.
- Remove hair daily from saddle pads and rugs to prevent build up that will make it itchy and uncomfortable for your horse to wear.
- Don’t wear lip gloss while grooming your horse!! 😝🐴
- Wear gloves and protective eye glasses.
- If there’s a bit of a breeze when removing your horses winter fur, put a fly mask on your horse so he doesn’t get excess hair in his eyes.
